Who are you going to vote for? 

...about 65% (statistically) of voters in Okara ward claim that [they are not being listened to] and it’s more than likely the same would apply throughout the district. But getting listened to is only half the battle - only 5% of that same population feels the council actually “responds” to ratepayers.

Whangarei District Council recently decided to provide a further $800,000 for the athletic track at Kensington Park – after the ASB declined both the applications for grants for this project and $3.5 million for the Events Centre. They raised questions regarding the duplication of facilities.

The Whangarei District Council would seem to have adopted the motto “I’ve made my mind up, don’t confuse me with the facts”.
